Introducing: The Mirai Project
(Not to be confused with SEGA & Crypton’s “Project Mirai”)

Technically, this version uses Uni-chan — simply because the model was available and Unity-compatible. But in the future, you’ll be able to add your own waifu.
Not just add — customize her personality, her behavior, her soul.

I’m working to make it possible to:
— Load any character model
— Define emotional traits and communication style
— Shape her behavior in different situations

I will do my best to reduce token usage while increasing response creativity. I’ll keep upgrading Mirai until she becomes indistinguishable from a real person.

AI runs on a free model via OpenRouter. It’s already set up by default.
If my key breaks someday, you can plug in your own — or use any model you like.

Current token cost breakdown:

• System prompt ≈ 1000 tokens

• Each message ≈ 220 tokens

• With 10-context messages: one request ≈ 2500 tokens

How much is that?
If you want a paid model, then on average it will...
One request ≈ $0.0004
100 requests/day ≈ $1.1/month

That’s cheaper than feeding a cat (=^･ω･^=). And Mirai can bring just as much warmth.Features:

• You can drag Mirai around her virtual room — place her anywhere on your screen.

• Right-click her to open the chat, and click again to close it.

• There’s a chat history button, where you can see your latest conversations.
  A limited history is shown, but the full dialogue log is saved locally as a file.

• In the settings, you can:

  • Enable room borders (visual movement limits)

  • Set up your own AI model, if you have one or if the default key goes offline.
